Today we have a very special guest blogger today from Ashton!  He's been working hard on this spooky story and it's finally ready to share!

P4’s Haunted Field Trip

This book is dedicated to some of my favorite teachers Mrs.Lippert, Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Pflugrath, and also my great classroom, P4.

Chapter 1 Getting Ready

One gloomy day in November portable four (p4) was getting prepared for a field trip to the Issaquah salmon hatchery. Everyone was getting their coat and lunch right before they walked out of the school to catch the bus. Mrs. Lippert and Mrs. Nichols were assigning chaperones to their students and getting everyone ready. Then everyone got in line and walked to the bus stop and got on the bus just like any regular field trip.

Chapter 2 On The Bus

When everyone was on the bus, the bus driver started to drive. While p4 was on the bus everyone started to talk and play rock, paper, scissors. After about 15 long minutes the bus driver turned around and everyone saw a sight no one ever  forgot. The bus driver was dead! He ran after the students but they jumped out the door before he could grab them. Then the kids and the teachers had to walk for the last 15 minutes until they got to the Issaquah salmon hatchery at 12:34 PM                    

 Chapter 3 At The Hatchery

 When we got there  we looked around and saw nothing anywhere. Then Mrs. Lippert said, “Let’s all look around at the salmon.” We walked over to the salmon and to our surprise, the salmons were all skeletons! Everyone jumped super high in the air and ran away, we knew something was wrong. We ran to the pay telephone. Luckily Anthony and Han both had a dime in their pocket, just enough for 1 call on the phone. We immediately called the police to come inspect the scene. A couple of minutes later the police got here but they were not any ordinary police, they were goblins! Once we saw them we immediately ran away and hid.

 Chapter 4 The Chase

                All the students and teachers were bunched up behind a statue of a fish in a river.  Then suddenly the goblins started running around looking for the students. The students started getting super scared. Suddenly, the goblins ripped their skin and then we saw the goblins weren’t really goblins, they were just Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Pflugrath in very realistic costumes. Everyone started laughing as loud as 1,000,000,000 lions roaring all at the same time. It was a pretty funny sight.

Chapter 5 Getting Back To School

                When everyone was calmed down we went back to the class, this time we had to walk the whole time because there was no way we were going on the bus with the dead bus driver especially after he tried to chase the kids and hurt the teachers. When we got back to school everyone was still thinking about that funny moment when the police were really teachers. After everyone in p4 got back to their seats then we went to math class and had a very fun day.
