Well we had a double balloon popping today! Day number 8 brought us a SMARTboard game that let students show off their best super hero poses and got some energy out of their systems! I was happy for that - and I'm sure they were as well. :) Ask your student what we did for our reward. Tomorrow students each get a piece of chewing gum, which is not normally allowed at school, for their reward and they are pretty excited. I will be providing the gum, so please do not send your student with gum or it will get taken away.
Tomorrow is also our annual book swap so if there are any more books you'd like to send in that you're ready to trade in, please do that tomorrow. The book swap is always a great way to get at least 1 new book to kick off summer reading!
And speaking of summer reading - there is a LOT of fun activities going on this summer at our local library that are definitely worth checking out.
